Meet Kassidy Neves

Trainer/Owner

Hi, I’m Kassidy! I was born and raised in Utah. With this, I had the opportunity to learn how to farm and care for many farm animals, especially horses. Horses have been a big part of my life and who I am today. I have been around horses since I was born and even began riding before I learned how to walk.

When I was younger, I remember always sitting at the arena watching my dad train and ride horses. I knew then that I wanted to train horses. I continued to watch and learn from my dad over the years. I would always ride horses, however, there was always someone there helping me or I was in an arena. I remember the day I first rode by myself out of the arena. I remember the feelings I had when riding alone for the first time. I felt overjoyed and that I had accomplished something huge. After my first ride alone, I knew that I wanted to teach others how to ride and share with them what made me happy.

Before I could train horses and teach others how to ride, I first had to learn all there was about training and teaching. I continued to watch and learn from my dad and also studying other resources. After a couple years of studying and learning, I got my first horse to train. Although it took time and patience, I was able to train her, and she is now a great horse.

What made me want to teach others how to ride?

I decided to teach others to ride because of all I gained while learning and after learning how to ride. I want to share the feelings of joy and achievement with as many people as I can.

When learning how to ride, I didn’t only learn how to ride a horse, but I also learned more about myself and who I am personally. I learned that I could do hard things, and I also learned to push myself as hard as I can until I accomplish my goals. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn how to ride and to form a connection like never before.

What made me want to train horses?

I decided to start training horses because I believe that every horse deserves to be the best version of itself.

I also enjoy watching and helping them learn how to understand me and my commands while I learn how to understand them and get to know them.

I love training horses because of what they teach me. When training, I learn trust, companionship, patience, understanding, and love. I also love being able to help a horse and its owner bond with each other. I believe that every horse deserves a chance and a forever home and companion.

Meet Karly McConahay

Trainer/Owner

Hi, I’m Karly! Being from the country land of Utah, I have had the luxury of farming and being around many animals, specifically horses. I have been around horses since I was born and have been riding for as long as I can remember.

I remember when I was younger, spending countless hours playing with our horses and watching my dad train ours and other’s horses. Watching my dad work with the horses and seeing the connection built between them, I knew that I wanted to experience the same connection. I remember when I was first beginning to ride, and the excitement I had. At first I wasn’t allowed to ride without someone around and without being in an arena, but after a couple years, I had finally become confident in myself and was able to ride outside of the arena. I remember the joy I felt. I had finally accomplished my biggest goal of riding alone without any restraints.

What made me want to teach others how to ride?

Unlike a lot of people, I was fortunate enough to have my dad there to teach me how to properly ride horses. I want to be able to be the person my dad was for me for other’s who have the desire to learn how to ride. I know that without my dad’s influence, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I hope that I am able to be that same influence on someone else.

Reflecting back on my feelings when I first began to ride, I want to be able to share those same feelings with as many people as I can. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to learn how to ride and create a companionship like no other. When learning how to ride, you learn more than just how to ride, you learn to trust, you learn to let go of any fear, and you learn what it means to truly love and be loved.

Horses are more than animals you ride, they are friends that you can have for the rest of your life, if you are willing to put in the time and effort. I hope to be able to help you create a friendship that will last a lifetime!
